3) Your claim will be reviewed
4) Your claim is finalized and payment is made.

· Call the toll free claims hotline for your specific insurance company, or
· Report your claim online with your specific insurance company "where
available"

Visit the website of the insurance company you filed a claim with to view your personal insurance account. Claims specific information will be available as well as contact information for claim experts. Have your claim number and policy number available to access your account.
Rental car
If you are involved in an accident and need a rental car, be sure to contact your claims representative to verify coverage and authorize the payment. If you choose to rent a vehicle prior to authorization through a licensed repair facility, be advised that some rental car companies charge a higher daily rate than your policy will allow. To ensure your out of pocket expenses are the least possible amount, be sure to consult with your claims representative to verify the maximum benefits that can be utilized during your claim.
